ABOUT NUSRETBEY

Nusretbey Boutique Hotel on Istanbul’s Historic Peninsula

Nusret Bey Boutique Hotel is a family-run boutique hotel in Sirkeci, Istanbul, on the historic peninsula—at the meeting point of the city’s Byzantine, Roman and Ottoman heritage.

Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar are a 5–10-minute walk away. Sirkeci Marmaray, metro and rail connections, plus Bosphorus sightseeing piers, are all close by.

Set in a restored 19th-century Ottoman building, our hotel has welcomed guests since 1 August 2019. Original architectural character meets rooms with wooden floors, doors, bright wood-framed windows and high ceilings—cared for by the third generation of our family.

OUR HOUSE

A 19th-century house, kept in its own character

Nusretbey began with a historic Ottoman-period building in Sirkeci. Its renewal was shaped around preserving the architectural details that give the house its sense of place.

Restored with care

The building was renewed while preserving its original architectural character.

Wood, light and height

Wooden floors and doors, bright wood-framed windows and high ceilings carry the character of the house into each room.

Third-generation welcome

Nusretbey has welcomed guests since 1 August 2019 and is cared for by the third generation of the family.
